Refund Policy

The seven-day trial

Every subscription starts with a free trial of seven days. Cancel before it ends and you are never charged, so there is nothing to refund. This is the simplest way to decide whether ArtExchange is for you.

Your 14-day right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer in the EU or the UK, you have a statutory right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of it being concluded, without giving any reason. We honour this in full.

To withdraw, email [email protected] — an informal message is enough. No particular form of words is required.

Cancelling after that

You can cancel at any time, and doing so stops the next renewal. The period you have already paid for runs to its end — you keep studio access until then — and is not refunded on a pro-rata basis outside the withdrawal window above.

You will never be charged again after you cancel, and you do not need to ask us to stop the renewal: cancelling in your account does it.

When we refund anyway

Statutory rights are a floor, not a ceiling. If you were charged in error, charged twice, or could not use the studio because of a fault on our side, write to us and we will put it right — that is not a discretionary favour, it is what you are owed.

How refunds are paid

Subscriptions are sold by Paddle.com Market Ltd as Merchant of Record, so refunds are issued by Paddle to the original payment method. They normally appear within five to ten business days, depending on your bank. You can contact us at [email protected] or use the link on your Paddle receipt.

If you simply stop paying

Nothing is deleted. Your portfolio stays online and your work stays in your own PDS; what closes is the studio. Taking your portfolio offline is free and always available, subscribed or not.
